The announcers talk WWE Stomping Grounds in two weeks, and show graphics for women’s matches, both of which received huge cheers from the crowd.
It’s main event time. The camera’s head backstage to find Goldberg’s locker room, and out he comes fired-up.
The Undertaker got a unique entrance, with lots of coffins on the stage, along with druids holding fiery torches.
GOLDBERG VS. THE UNDERTAKER
The bell rings and Undertaker and Goldberg meet in the centre of the ring. Goldberg sizes him up, smiles, then cuts his throat with his thumb. Undertaker responds with a right hand. Goldberg falls back against the ropes and comes back with a Spear!
Goldberg goes to the corner and readies himself, then runs and hits a second Spear! Undertaker kicks out! Goldberg walks back to the corner but when he turns around the Deadman has sat up! Undertaker gets to his feet, Goldberg whips him into the ropes, but ‘Taker ducks a clothesline and grabs him by the throat. Goldberg uses his strength to pull Undertaker’s hand off. Goldberg then rolls Undertaker down and into a heel hook.
The Deadman rallies as the fans chant his name. Goldberg kicks Undertaker in the corner, then runs at him but nobody’s home. Undertaker shakes-off his painful knee, while Goldberg has been busted wide open. Undertaker lifts Goldberg to his feet and tees off on him in the corner. Undertaker wrenches the arm and lands Old School. Undertaker grabs Goldberg for a Chokeslam, then goes to the corner and cuts his throat with his thumb. He lifts Goldberg and hits the Tombstone Piledriver… but Goldberg kicks out!
Undertaker attacks Goldberg in the corner, then whips him to the ropes and they him stereo clotheslines. Both men are down. They climb back up and trade hands in the centre of the ring. Undertaker whips Goldberg to the corner and follows-up with a lariat, snake-eyes, and looks for the big boot but gets caught with a Spear!
Goldberg grabs Undertaker and looks for the Jackhammer but couldn’t really get him up and very nearly spiked Undertaker. Goldberg lifted Undertaker for the Tombstone and ‘Taker tried to reverse it but they both just fell. Undertaker then lifted Goldberg and hit an awful Chokeslam for the win.
WINNER: THE UNDERTAKER
The Undertaker does not look pleased. That was a poor finish to an otherwise decent match.
